Chuck and Billie Hopson’s close friend, Mrs. Doris Finley, left a lasting impression on them as a person and an educator. They have honored her with a scholarship in her memory for a JHS student pursuing a career as an educator.
The qualifications for the scholarship are: graduate of JISD; full time enrollment (12 hours) in an accredited college or university; pursuing a degree in education; $1000 to be paid to the institution of choice.
